Complete the Gemini Master Project
You will complete one Gemini Master Project by choosing a single option: a business system, a content business, a personal productivity system, a research workflow, a simple web application, or a marketing agency workflow. Plan milestones you can show, run a quality checklist, and finish with an improvement stage after a hard read of your own draft. Use a clear brief, open sources or run checks where facts matter, and keep private data out of the chat. The academy certificate is not an accredited credential and not from Google. Finishing shows you can run a workflow and revise it. It does not license you, and it does not mean a company or a university certified your judgment.
Outcomes
- One chosen option with a brief, milestones, and a finished artifact a stranger could inspect.
- A quality checklist you actually used, including evidence, privacy, and the promised output.
- An improvement stage with at least one revision you can point to after a hard read.
Steps
1. Choose one option and set milestones
Pick one option only: a business system, a content business, a personal productivity system, a research workflow, a simple web application, or a marketing agency workflow. Write requirements: the user, the artifact, and what done means. Set milestones you can see, such as a brief, a first draft, a checked draft, and a revised draft. Do not start a second option. Depth on one workflow is the assignment.
2. Build the first draft from a brief
Write the brief: context you may share, the task, the constraints, and the output shape. If you chose the simple web application, keep it to one HTML file, use no API keys, change one part yourself, and keep a working copy. If you make factual claims, tag them or tie them to sources you opened. Paste secrets nowhere. Stop at the first milestone and save the artifact outside the chat.
3. Pass the quality checklist
Run a quality checklist against the draft: audience, evidence, privacy, format, and whether you could repeat the workflow from your notes. Mark each item pass or fail. Failures stay visible. For a marketing or business option, every claim should be supportable as fact, hypothesis, or needs a source. For research, at least two sources should have been opened outside Gemini. Do not soften a fail because the tone is polished.
4. Complete the improvement stage
Read the draft as a harsh but fair reviewer and pick the most serious gap from the quality checklist. Revise that gap yourself, with Gemini only as a drafter if you still need one. Show the before and after in a few lines. This improvement stage is required. Adding new sections to hide a weak claim does not count. One real repair is worth more than a longer untouched draft.
5. Package the project and name the limit
Collect the brief, the milestones, the artifact, the quality checklist, and the improvement note in one place you control. Add a short statement that the academy certificate is not an accredited credential and not from Google. Say what the workflow does well and what you still refuse to hand to a model. The project is complete when someone else could follow your packet and see the revision.
Starter prompts
Milestone brief
Help me plan one Gemini Master Project. I will name one option only: a business system, a content business, a personal productivity system, a research workflow, a simple web application, or a marketing agency workflow. Propose four milestones I can show: brief, first draft, quality checklist, and improvement stage. Do not invent facts about my business or my audience. Remind me that private data and API keys stay out. If I chose the simple web application, the milestone plan must include one HTML file, no API keys, one edit I make myself, and a working copy. Stop after the plan. Do not build the artifact yet.
Improvement stage
Review the draft I paste against this quality checklist: audience, evidence, privacy, format, and whether the workflow can be repeated from my notes. List the three most serious gaps. Do not rewrite yet, and do not call the work certified, accredited, or approved by Google. The academy certificate is not an accredited credential and not from Google, so do not suggest wording that implies a license. If a claim is not tied to a source I supplied, mark it needs a source. Then wait. I will revise one gap and paste the change. Only after that may you comment on whether the revision addressed the gap, without adding new claims.
Checklist
Rubric
- One option is finished deeply enough that a stranger can see the artifact and the brief.
- Milestones were real checkpoints, not a single rushed chat.
- The quality checklist caught evidence, privacy, and format, and the results are honest.
- The improvement stage changed the work, and you did not treat the academy certificate as an accredited credential or as a Google certification.
